suspected vaccination failure; I got shingles in March / Almost went blind still suffering from it; I got shingles in March; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a adult patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. In MAR-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), ophthalmic herpes zoster (Verbatim: I got shingles in March / Almost went blind still suffering from it) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: I got shingles in March). The outcome of the vaccination failure was not reported and the outcome of the ophthalmic herpes zoster and shingles were not resolved. The patient had his/her first Shingles shot at 50 and then he/she had the two that were supposed to be taken, and the patient got shingles in MAR-2026. The patient had almost gone blind and was still suffering from it and would not have wished it upon anyone. The patient further stated that it would be so horrible, if anyone get little blisters on their forehead or anywhere on their body, do not pop them. The patient had thought he/she was totally safe. No one was safe from shingles even with the shots. The patient guess it was said that it was less painful, but his/her eye was shut for nine days. The patient was still suffering in his/her right eye. The patient's right side of forehead was still totally numb. The patient advised being careful out there. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding, time to onset and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles and ophthalmic herpes zoster were unknown at the time of reporting.
