Approximately 2-3 minutes post vaccination patient's body stiffened and shook for 10-15 seconds and she was unresponsive to talk or touch. She then unstiffened and said "what happened" but was able to state her name and date of birth. Myself and the other nurse present took her blood pressure (100/54) and heart rate (85 HR). She said denied being hot or having a headache but said she felt weak. She was given water and was monitored for 15 minutes. Throughout that time she was alert and orientated. Prior to leaving she was able to correctly state her name, date of birth, current location, and current activity. Her mother felt comfortable to take her home and continue to monitor her.
