Symptom narrative

Hives; nausea; Joint ache; diarrhea; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of nausea in a 71-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix with an associated reaction of no adverse event (received first dose in MAR-2026, had no side effects from the first shot). Concurrent medical conditions included blood pressure high and peanut allergy (peanut containing drug products allergy). Concomitant products included amlodipine besilate (Norvasc). On 11-JUN-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix (intramuscular) .5 ml. On 11-JUN-2026, less than a day after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced joint pain (Verbatim: Joint ache) and diarrhea (Verbatim: diarrhea). On 12-JUN-2026, the patient experienced nausea (Verbatim: nausea). On 13-JUN-2026, the patient experienced hives (Verbatim: Hives). On 11-JUN-2026, the outcome of the joint pain and diarrhea were resolved. On 12-JUN-2026, the outcome of the nausea was resolved. On 13-JUN-2026, the outcome of the hives was resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the nausea, joint pain, diarrhea and hives to be related to Shingrix and Shingrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device.
