lost the hearing in my right ear; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of hearing loss unilateral in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced hearing loss unilateral (Verbatim: lost the hearing in my right ear) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the hearing loss unilateral was resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the hearing loss unilateral to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the hearing loss unilateral to be unrelated to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 14-JUN-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. It had taken a couple of days before the patient could hear again. The patient would not go back for the second dose. Neither one of the patient's parents had ever had shingles, but the patient had known that this was not a factor.
