Symptom narrative

Patient received both vaccines in the left arm and by the next day, her upper arm was swollen, red, tender, hot to touch. The redness has not seemed to spread and the swelling/tenderness has not worsened or lessened in the last 4-5 days. Instructed her to use an ice pack to reduce swelling/pain and acetaminophen (can't take ibuprofen) if the pain is still present. She will follow up with provider's office Monday if it is not getting any better.
