Symptom narrative

Patient reported her left arm was sore near the injection site beginning the evening of 6/18/26, and she took acetaminophen to help with the soreness. Starting on 6/19/26, the patient noticed her arm around and below the injection site had become hot to the touch with redness and swelling of the skin. The redness and swelling spread further down her arm from the injection site to her elbow. She received a prescription for cephalexin on 6/21/26 to treat the suspected skin infection and reported her reaction to the pharmacy.
