Wake up feeling like got the flu; COVID-19; A very sore arm even into shoulder; A very sore arm even into shoulder; The aortic valve was, aged and calcified and closed off and thought it was progressed quicker after COVID; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of AORTIC VALVE STENOSIS (The aortic valve was, aged and calcified and closed off and thought it was progressed quicker after COVID), INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (Wake up feeling like got the flu), COVID-19 (COVID-19), VACCINATION SITE PAIN (A very sore arm even into shoulder) and ARTHRALGIA (A very sore arm even into shoulder) in an 8-decade-old male patient who received SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included CLL (7 years ago). On an unknown date, the patient received dose of SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. In 2024, the patient experienced AORTIC VALVE STENOSIS (The aortic valve was, aged and calcified and closed off and thought it was progressed quicker after COVID). On an unknown date, the patient experienced INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (Wake up feeling like got the flu), COVID-19 (COVID-19), VACCINATION SITE PAIN (A very sore arm even into shoulder) and ARTHRALGIA (A very sore arm even into shoulder). At the time of the report, AORTIC VALVE STENOSIS (The aortic valve was, aged and calcified and closed off and thought it was progressed quicker after COVID) and COVID-19 (COVID-19) outcome was unknown and INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (Wake up feeling like got the flu), VACCINATION SITE PAIN (A very sore arm even into shoulder) and ARTHRALGIA (A very sore arm even into shoulder) had resolved. The action taken with SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Unknown) was unknown. Patient had all covid vaccines from Moderna since first release and then about yearly. No concomitant medication was reported. Patient reported that his aortic valve was aged, calcified, and had become significantly closed. He thought that the condition progressed more rapidly following COVID-19; however, he was uncertain about this association. According to the Clinic evaluation, the condition was estimated present for approximately 3 years and was not considered related to COVID-19. He had Artificial heart valve placed in ??-???-2024. It was reported that he would be on sofa for two days after every dose and the symptoms generally persisted for a couple of days before resolving. He was aware of this expected reaction pattern, and his physician advised him to rest and quit complaining. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms or events. No treatment medication was reported.
