a patient received an expired dose of Shingrix (2 vial). The vaccine was expired since 6/9/2026 and the patient received it today on 6/18/2026; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of expired vaccine used in a 54-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) solution for injection (batch number ME424 with expiry date 09-JUN-2026) for prophylaxis. On 18-JUN-2026, the patient received Shingrix. On 18-JUN-2026, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced expired vaccine used (Verbatim: a patient received an expired dose of Shingrix (2 vial). The vaccine was expired since 6/9/2026 and the patient received it today on 6/18/2026). The outcome of the expired vaccine used was not applicable.
