Patient came to pharmacy and it was recommended they get a Pneumonia vaccine based off of patient's vaccine history. Vaccine was given 6/16/26. Patient states she was fine after the vaccine but on Saturday, 6/20/26 she woke up with pain and swelling in her arm near the injection site. Then she came to pharmacy on 6/21/26 and said it was getting bigger and hurting more. She iced the area but was not helping., I told her to follow up with me and her doctor the next day when office was open to see if it gets better. On 6/22/26, pt came back to pharmacy saying its getting a little better but still hurts. I called her doctor office and left a message for them stating what happened. They said they will call pt and follow up. Patient came on 6/22/26 to pharmacy and said md told her to take Benadryl and Cortizone cream and will follow up with her.
