Symptom narrative

Essential Tremors (ET); ET became exacerbated; Shortness of breath when doing physical labor; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. A 64-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), on 19Mar2021 as dose 2, single (Lot number: EP6955) at the age of 63 years, in arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "posterior vitreous detach't (PVD)" (unspecified if ongoing); "Tinnitus" (unspecified if ongoing); "Essential Tremor" (unspecified if ongoing). Patient have no known allergies. Concomitant medication(s) included: SIMVASTATIN. Vaccination history included: Covid 19 vaccine (DOSE 1, SINGLE, Manufacturer: Unknown), for Covid-19 Immunization. The following information was reported: CONDITION AGGRAVATED (disability) with onset Oct2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "ET became exacerbated"; ESSENTIAL TREMOR (disability) with onset Oct2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "Essential Tremors (ET)"; DYSPNOEA EXERTIONAL (disability) with onset Oct2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "Shortness of breath when doing physical labor". The reporter described two issues following vaccination. First, essential tremors (ET) were multiplied to a disabling level. Prior to the vaccine, the ET was manageable; however, within weeks after the second dose, the ET became exacerbated. The patient became unable to perform most tasks with a single hand and required both hands necessary to hold anything. Second, the patient experienced shortness of breath when doing physical labor. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of essential tremor, condition aggravated, dyspnoea exertional and included attempted hand weights and tens therapy.
