burning neuropathy; allergy/ allergic reaction; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of neuropathy in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced neuropathy (Verbatim: burning neuropathy) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and allergic reaction (Verbatim: allergy/ allergic reaction). The outcome of the neuropathy and allergic reaction were unknown. The reporter considered the neuropathy and allergic reaction to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the neuropathy to be unrelated to Shingrix. The company considered the allergic reaction to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 17-JUN-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The patient stated that she got an allergic reaction to a shot containing formaldehyde and MSG and experienced burning neuropathy from the shot. The batch number was not provided, and unable to contact the reporter.; Sender's Comments: A case of Neuropathy peripheral, unknown time after receiving Shingrix, in a female patient. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by the GSK product cannot be ascertained. Consent for further follow-up has not been received.
