Symptom narrative

The Shingrix vaccine was administered on June 19th. On June 20th about 11:00 am, my tongue swelled slightly such that I bit my tongue. A red rash appeared on my neck on the right side. then on my back is 4-5 places on June 21st. I started a 10 mg dose on June 19th of diphedrimine 1 pill every 4-6 hours.

mild products, oranges, rose hips

Lab data

I was evaluated by my PCP and was diagnosed as having urticaria as a result of the Shingrix vaccine. As of today, June 24th, my rash is still red and itchy and is appearing in more places. My PCP prescribed prednisone pack for 5 days, and an epi-pen.
