Guillain Barre syndrome; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of guillain barre syndrome in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Family history included shingles (mother-in-law got Shingles in age 85). On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, between 1 and 2 years after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced guillain barre syndrome (Verbatim: Guillain Barre syndrome) (serious criteria death and GSK medically significant). The patient was treated with blood plasma (Plasma). The reported cause of death was guillain barre syndrome. It was unknown if the reporter considered the guillain barre syndrome to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the guillain barre syndrome to be unrelated to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt date: 19-JUN-2026 This case was reported by a patient's husband via interactive digital media. The patient underwent five plasma transfusions and died approximately one and a half years after receiving the Shingrix vaccinations. The reporter also stated that if any one experienced falls and loss of muscle control, they should seek immediate to emergency room. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.; Sender's Comments: A case of Guillain-Barre syndrome (BCWG Level 4), Between 1 and 2 years after vaccination with the 1st and 2nd doses of Shingrix, in a female patient. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by GSK vaccine product cannot be ascertained.
