Medical Assistant calls to ask about the inadvertent administration of the liquid portion of PENMENVY; the liquid portion of PENMENVY; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate preparation of medication in a 17-year-old male patient who received Men ABCWY NVS (Penmenvy) suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe (batch number 7J5LF with expiry date 03-APR-2028) for prophylaxis. On 18-JUN-2026, the patient received Penmenvy. On 18-JUN-2026, an unknown time after receiving Penmenvy, the patient experienced inappropriate preparation of medication (Verbatim: Medical Assistant calls to ask about the inadvertent administration of the liquid portion of PENMENVY) and inappropriate dose of vaccine administered (Verbatim: the liquid portion of PENMENVY). The outcome of the inappropriate preparation of medication and inappropriate dose of vaccine administered were not applicable.
