Symptom narrative

~20 minutes after administration of the vaccine, patient walked around of the exam room, reported feeling dizzy, and fainted while waiting for the elevator. On exam, patient was spontaneously breathing with eyes closed but would respond appropriately when asked to state her name. She denied any neck pain or headaches. Her legs were elevated until she felt well enough to sit up and walk a few steps to a nearby chair. Initial random BG was 40, BP 90/58 - she was given glucola 50 gm. She had one non-bloody emesis after initial sips of glucola. Repeat BG (30 min after drinking glucola) was 168, BP 90/57, and patient felt better (no lightheadedness or feeling faint).
