experienced a lot of pain from the vaccine; Initial information received on 17-Jun-2026 regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case received from patient's mother (non-healthcare professional). This case involves a 32-year-old female patient who experienced a lot of pain after receiving rabies (HDC) vaccine [Imovax Rabies]. The patient's past medical history, past drugs, vaccination(s), family history, and concomitant medications were not provided. On an unspecified date, the patient received a 1 mL dose (once) of rabies (HDC) vaccine powder for solution for injection (batch, expiry and strength: unknown) via unknown route in an unknown administration site for pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis against rabies [Rabies immunisation]. Information on batch number, expiry date corresponding to the one at time of event occurrence were requested. The patient's mother reported that the patient was bitten by a raccoon and was treated for rabies. The patient experienced a lot of pain from the vaccine (Vaccination site pain, onset date and latency: unknown). The vaccine was administered intentionally by the healthcare professional (HCP).
