Guillain Barre syndrome; This serious case was reported by a nurse via sales rep and described the occurrence of guillain barre syndrome in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced guillain barre syndrome (Verbatim: Guillain Barre syndrome) (serious criteria disability and GSK medically significant). The outcome of the guillain barre syndrome was unknown. The reporter considered the guillain barre syndrome to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the guillain barre syndrome to be unrelated to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 25-JUN-2026 The nurse had reported that her friend had developed GBS (Guillain Barre syndrome) following Shingrix vaccination. The nurse had stated that this was not related to an existing case. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.; Sender's Comments: A case of Guillain-Barre syndrome (BCWG Level 4), on an unknown time after vaccination with unknown dose of Shingrix, in a patient. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by GSK vaccine product cannot be ascertained. Further follow up information has been sought.
