Kinrix inadvertent administration, over age limit.; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 11-year-old male patient who received DTPa-IPV (Kinrix) suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe (batch number 5G23D with expiry date 21-AUG-2026) for prophylaxis. On 25-JUN-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Kinrix. On 25-JUN-2026, an unknown time after receiving Kinrix, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: Kinrix inadvertent administration, over age limit.). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 26-JUN-2026 The licensed practitioner nurse reported that the inadvertent second dose administration of Kinrix to an eleven-year-old patient. The appropriate vaccine that was scheduled to be administered was Boostrix. The patient received the first dose of Kinrix at the age of five. The second dose of Kinrix was considered the sixth Tetanus vaccine and the fifth Poliovirus Vaccine for this patient.
