accidentally administered an expired dose; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of expired vaccine used in a 12-year-old male patient who received DTPa (Reduced antigen) (Boostrix) suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe (batch number 73J5L with expiry date 03-MAY-2026) for prophylaxis. On 16-JUN-2026, the patient received Boostrix. On 16-JUN-2026, an unknown time after receiving Boostrix, the patient experienced expired vaccine used (Verbatim: accidentally administered an expired dose). The outcome of the expired vaccine used was not applicable. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences.
