Swollen glands; Sweating; Body aches; Tiredness; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of swollen glands in a 71-year-old female patient who received DTPa (Reduced antigen) (Boostrix) suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe (batch number YE2N9 with expiry date 10-AUG-2028) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included COVID-19 vaccine. On 25-JUN-2026, the patient received Boostrix (intramuscular, left deltoid) .5 ml. On 25-JUN-2026, less than a day after receiving Boostrix, the patient experienced swollen glands (Verbatim: Swollen glands), sweating (Verbatim: Sweating), general body pain (Verbatim: Body aches) and tiredness (Verbatim: Tiredness). On 02-JUL-2026, the outcome of the swollen glands, sweating, general body pain and tiredness were resolving (duration 7 days). It was unknown if the reporter considered the swollen glands, sweating, general body pain and tiredness to be related to Boostrix and Boostrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 02-JUL-2026 The patient reported that she did not begin to feel better until the 7th day after the shot. The patient has not had this problem with prior Tetanus shots as got them every 10 years. The patient reaction to this shot was worse than a Covid shot. The patient had the pharmacist go over my medications to see if there was a conflict, but the pharmacist said no as pharmacist will never get this brand again. The patient experienced swollen glands, severe body aches, sweats, extremely tired.
