Symptom narrative

Patient developed high anion gap metabolic acidosis in the setting of vomiting and diarrhea. He was subsequently diagnosed with enterovirus and Sapovirus infections. Initially after vaccination, he had period of increased crying, thigh swelling and reduced weight bearing. Acidosis resolved after fluid resuscitation in the Emergency department.

Enterovirus infection and Sapovirus infection (diagnosed at time of adverse event)
