I have been loosing a lot of weight; in January of 2026 I became very sick having high inflammation; they think I might have cancer now; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP from medical information team. A 65-year-old patient of unspecified gender received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), in Oct2025 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (PRIMARY IMMUNIZATION SERIES COMPLETE), for Covid-19 immunisation. The following information was reported: NEOPLASM MALIGNANT (medically significant) with onset 2025, outcome "unknown", described as "they think I might have cancer now"; INFLAMMATION (non-serious) with onset Jan2026, outcome "unknown", described as "in January of 2026 I became very sick having high inflammation"; WEIGHT DECREASED (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "I have been loosing a lot of weight". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Inflammatory marker test: (Jan2026) high inflammation. Clinical course: the patient stated "I took a covid booster in Oct2025 and I have taken Pfizer covid shot since the very beginning when covid first came out and in Jan2026 I became very sick, having high inflammation in my body. I am wondering if the covid shot did this to me? My rheumatologist had me to do labs and it came back as a high inflammation in my body. And I have been losing a lot of weight. I am wondering if the covid shout could have make me so sick? They think I might have cancer now: they had to see a specialist, I have to see a cancer specialist, it is in November or December, like few months later this started happening, so I have to question is this attributed to me getting a covid vaccine?".
