acute trigeminal neuralgia; occipital neuralgia; interferonopathy; autoimmune disorder; general pain; unable to walk; extreme muscle weakness; tachycardia; swallowing difficult; GI issues; dry eye; dry mouth; fatigue; rashes; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. A 27-year-old female patient (not pregnant) received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), on 21Apr2021 at 09:45 as dose 2, single (Lot number: EW0161) at the age of 27 years, in arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history was not reported. The father's relevant medical history was not reported. The father had no concomitant medications. Past drug history included: Ceclor, reaction(s): "Hypersensitivity". Vaccination history included: pfizer COVID-19 mrna vaccine (DOSE 1, SINGLE; Time of administration: 09:45 AM; Lot: EP6955; Injected in arm), administration date: 24Mar2021, when the patient was 27-year-old, for COVID-19 Immunization. The following information was reported: GASTROINTESTINAL DISORDER (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "GI issues"; TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "acute trigeminal neuralgia"; AUTOIMMUNE DISORDER (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered"; DRY EYE (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered"; DRY MOUTH (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered"; MUSCULAR WEAKNESS (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "extreme muscle weakness"; FATIGUE (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered"; PAIN (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "general pain"; INTERFERONOPATHY (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered"; OCCIPITAL NEURALGIA (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered"; RASH (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "rashes"; DYSPHAGIA (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "swallowing difficult"; TACHYCARDIA (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered"; GAIT INABILITY (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "unable to walk". The patient was hospitalized for trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, interferonopathy, autoimmune disorder, pain, fatigue, gait inability, muscular weakness, tachycardia, dysphagia, gastrointestinal disorder, dry eye, dry mouth, rash (start date: Oct2021, discharge date: 2021, hospitalization duration: 6 day(s)). Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, interferonopathy, autoimmune disorder, pain, fatigue, gait inability, muscular weakness, tachycardia, dysphagia, gastrointestinal disorder, dry eye, dry mouth, rash. Clinical Course: The patient did not receive any other vaccines on the same date as the vaccine(s). The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks PRIOR to the vaccine(s). The patient did not take any other medications within 2 weeks of the event starting. In 2021, the patient was a healthy 27 year old with no previous history of autoimmune conditions. She received 2 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in Spring 2021. Within weeks, she began to experience acute trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, as well as general pain and fatigue that worsened over the course of 2021.Patient's symptoms worsened through the summer and she was hospitalized in October 2021 after she became unable to walk due to extreme muscle weakness and a general progression of her other symptoms, including tachycardia and difficulty swallowing. Patient's only sibling (brother) had a very similar reaction following the Pfizer COVID-19 MRNA booster. Patient and her brother still experience challenging symptoms 5 years later (pain, fatigue, muscle weakness, tachycardia, GI issues, dry eye/mouth, rashes). The latest thinking by doctors is it a yet unknown genetic susceptibility to MRNA vaccinations, which led to an interferonopathy and autoimmune disorder.Treatment received for the adverse event are: IVIG, IV steriods and many prescription meds.; Sender's Comments: Linked Report(s) : US-PFIZER INC-202600127641 Same reporter, product, events; Different patient;
