Has been sick ever since she had the (Moderna) COVID shot; She has been wheezing; Has shortness of breath; She can hear the wheezing when she breathes, has to clear her throat alot; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of ILLNESS (Has been sick ever since she had the (Moderna) COVID shot), WHEEZING (She has been wheezing), DYSPNOEA (Has shortness of breath) and THROAT CLEARING (She can hear the wheezing when she breathes, has to clear her throat alot) in a 7-decade-old female patient who received SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Co-suspect product included non-company product Pneumococcal vaccine conj 21v (CRM197) (Capvaxive) for Prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included Diabetic and Ex-smoker (Had not smoked for 4 years). In November 2025, the patient received dose of Pneumococcal vaccine conj 21v (CRM197) (Capvaxive) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient received dose of SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. In 2025, the patient experienced WHEEZING (She has been wheezing), DYSPNOEA (Has shortness of breath) and THROAT CLEARING (She can hear the wheezing when she breathes, has to clear her throat alot). On an unknown date, the patient experienced ILLNESS (Has been sick ever since she had the (Moderna) COVID shot). At the time of the report, ILLNESS (Has been sick ever since she had the (Moderna) COVID shot), WHEEZING (She has been wheezing), DYSPNOEA (Has shortness of breath) and THROAT CLEARING (She can hear the wheezing when she breathes, has to clear her throat alot) had not resolved. The action taken with SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Unknown) was unknown. Previously, the patient had a lot of other issues. No drug reactions/allergies were reported. Concomitant medication use information was not provided by reporter. Within 2 weeks of receiving the CAPVAXIVE shot in November 2025, the patient began wheezing, experienced shortness of breath, and could hear the wheezing when breathing. The patient had to clear the throat a lot and had been sick ever since receiving the (Moderna) COVID shot. The patient had been seeing a lung doctor for 6 years and was normally very healthy. The lung doctor prescribed treatment which included inhalers, but the patient did not really use them until she received the vaccine. The patient did not want to use the inhalers because "they contain steroids". It was reported that the patient was very sensitive to medications and did not even take diabetes medication. No lab diagnostics or studies were performed.
