pain body wide; fever; headache; nearly body wide rash; Joint pain; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PAIN (pain body wide), PYREXIA (fever), HEADACHE (headache), RASH (nearly body wide rash) and ARTHRALGIA (Joint pain) in a 64-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The suspect product included Pre-filled Syringe injection for COVID-19 prophylaxis. On 17-Jul-2026, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient started Pre-filled Syringe (unknown route) at an unspecified dose. On 17-Jul-2026, the patient experienced PAIN (pain body wide), PYREXIA (fever), HEADACHE (headache), RASH (nearly body wide rash) and ARTHRALGIA (Joint pain). At the time of the report, PAIN (pain body wide), PYREXIA (fever), HEADACHE (headache) and RASH (nearly body wide rash) was resolving and ARTHRALGIA (Joint pain) outcome was unknown. The action taken with mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. The patient had no medical history, concomitant disease or risk factor. Concomitant medication details were not provided. There were no lab data/results available. The patient did not experience any additional symptoms/events. It was reported that the patient did not want to take medication for the joint pain due to concerns about decreasing the effectiveness of the shot but eventually had to and took Advil 350 and Benadryl once in the morning after the shot and again in the afternoon, which helped an invite the pain. However, the rash remained but had lessened.
