disseminated rubella; suspected vaccination failure; primary immunodeficiency; This serious case was reported by a physician via sales rep and described the occurrence of rubella in a 1-year-old female patient who received MMR (MMR vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received MMR vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving MMR vaccine, the patient experienced rubella (Verbatim: disseminated rubella) (serious criteria death), vaccination failure (Verbatim: suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and immunodeficiency (Verbatim: primary immunodeficiency) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the vaccination failure and immunodeficiency were not reported. The reported cause of death was rubella. The reporter considered the rubella and vaccination failure to be related to MMR vaccine. It was unknown if the reporter considered the immunodeficiency to be related to MMR vaccine. The company considered the rubella, vaccination failure and immunodeficiency to be unrelated to MMR vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 23-JUL-2026 The patient had been diagnosed with a primary immunodeficiency after the immunization. The patient immunocompromised health status had been unknown when patient had received the live vaccine. This had not been related to an existing case. The batch number was not provided and we and unable to contact the reporter. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule, time to onset and laboratory test confirming rubella were unknown at the time of reporting.; Sender's Comments: A case of Rubella, Vaccination failure and Immunodeficiency, on an unknown time after vaccination with unknown dose of MMR vaccine, in a 1-year-old female patient. Based on the available information a possible causality that the events were caused by GSK vaccine product cannot be ascertained.
