Patient was administered Vaxelis. Dtap and HIB were ordered. Patient received vaxelis and HIB. Patient was in office and returned to office. Family informed. No adverse reaction noted
on 3/18 mother of patient states patient had fever, facial swelling, and emesis X 1
Anaphylaxis a few minutes after administration. symptoms included difficulty breathing, swollen throat/tongue and gagging. Administered epi-pen twice. Emergency arrived and administered another epinephrine dose.
Headache, chills, fever day after injection. Symptoms subsided two days after injection. Symptoms not noticeable three days after injection.
3 days after immunization patient started headaches for a day or 2. Then a rash developed for 3 days that then resolved. Patient did not have to seek medical treatment.
