Patient had already received a dose of RSV vaccine (Arexvy) in 2023, but he requested another RSV vaccine on 10/2/25 and was mistakenly given another dose of RSV vaccine (Abrysvo) outside of ACIP recommendations.
Pt reports new onset daily hot flashes that began immediately after receiving flu vaccine. Otherwise no new symptoms and feeling well.
Swelling, redness, heat on right arm, below injection site, patient came in to pharmacy 2 days after receiving. Injection site looks normal. Referred pt to md for follow up, especially if redness spreads or doesn't improve in next few days
