Approximately 72 hours after receiving vaccine developed dermatographic urticaria which has slowly improved over the past two months. No constitutional, laryngeal, or systemic symptoms.
Patient was seen for 6 month well child visit. HIB antigen was mixed with pediarix prefilled syringe instead of sterile diluent syringe. There are no known adverse effects at this time. Patient did not need another office or clinic visit due to this.
