Patient experienced rash, swelling and joint pain in both legs and ankles. Went to hospital on 5/28/2026. She was admitted and discharged on 05/29/2026. She was discharged on prednisone and doxycycline.
Patient should have gotten subcutaneous Yellow Fever shot but instead received it intramuscularly. Patient was fine. I observed patient and did not notice any side effects.

Patient mentioned sore arm after injection. Several hours later her arm was still sore so she was advised to go to a prompt care. No redness, swelling or heat at injection site noted. A script for prednisone was filled and picked up by 7 pm.
Swelling, redness, heat and pain occurred at the site of injection which started within a few hours from injection. The symptoms continued for 2 days and the patient went to urgent care. She is being diagnosed and treated for potential cellulitis.
