A patient received a Pfizer ped 5-11 COVID vaccine that was subsequently found to be expired. The patient's caregiver was notified of the expired product on 3/2. There is no documentation of adverse reactions or subsequent COVID infection.
Patient states she had soreness in her arm for 2 days, but on the third day, she broke out in a rash. The rash was on her arms and upper torso/abdomen area. It lasted for a week and she was uncomfortable during this time due to the pruiritis.
